libgsound0 software package provides small library for playing system sounds, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgsound0
libgsound0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgsound0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgsound0 *
You will get with libgsound0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
